A man has been arrested following a police chase through Montgomery early Tuesday.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, troopers tried to stop a vehicle for speeding around 1:15 a.m. on Interstate 85 in Montgomery County.
The driver did not stop and troopers chased the car into and through the city of Montgomery. Authorities say eventually they were able to get the driver stopped near the intersection of Forest and Park Avenues. The driver was identified as 26-year-old Montgomery resident Desanco Smith. Smith was arrested and charged with a series of traffic violations, attempting to elude, along with a felony warrant.Not reading this story on the WSFA News App?
