Developers have broken ground on a waterfront restaurant project on Lake Ray Hubbard. The lakeside restaurant complex is a project of private investor SBM LLC and Dallas’ Retail Street Advisors.
It’s part of the Sapphire Bay Marina, which has dock houses, boat rentals and boat brokerage centers. The project also includes newly installed, state-of the-art fuel systems and other modern amenities. “Baywalk will be the fun front porch of the Rowlett community and a convenient retreat for the D-FW region,” Retail Street Advisors’ Aaron Stephenson said in a statement. “When you think about notable attributes that make an environment engaging and memorable, such as water views, interactive outdoor settings, local cafes and pubs, etc., Baywalk brings it all together in one extraordinary place.
