The suspect in a shooting at an Arlington TX club that killed one man and injured another might have acted in self-defense, police said.
A man accused of shooting two people, including one fatally, outside a gentlemen’s club early Sunday in Arlington was taken into police custody — but released and doesn’t currently face criminal charges, officials said.
Officers responded about 1:15 a.m. to a business in the 2700 block of Majesty Drive and found two gunshot victims, police said.A 30-year-old man, identified in the county medical examiner records as Abel Alberto Rodriguez, and a 40-year-old man were lying on the roadway near the parking lot of the club.Rodriguez was pronounced dead at the scene. The older man was taken to a hospital and is expected to survive, according to police.
