About 50 to 100 people were attending the event when the shots were fired.

One man was hit in the head and pronounced dead at the scene. Another person was hospitalized and is in critical condition. Two more people were grazed by bullets and had non-life-threatening injuries,Upper Darby Police Superintendent Timothy Bernhardt told 6ABC that officials believe the shooting was retaliation for the Thursday event, where Birchett King, 25, shot and killed his uncle, Ford, during a fight over a car.

King was taken into custody for that shooting on Monday.
