Southeast Houston pool party shooting sends 1 to hospital

Police were investigating after a shooting broke out late Sunday at a pool party in southeast Houston that sent at least one person to the hospital, officials said. Officers around 10:15 p.m. responded to the shooting in the 4900 block of Martin Luther King Boulevard and found at least one person had been shot multiple times, Lt. J.P. Horelica of the Houston Police Department told Metro Video Services reporters. The person was taken to the hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening.
