Several incredible Thor moments will never happen if Chris Hemsworth doesn’t come back for another Marvel movie. The credits of his last movie, Thor: Love and Thunder, promised “Thor will return.” In spite of that, questions remain regarding Hemsworth’s future as the character in the MCU.
Thor’s Relationship With Love Thor: Love and Thunder’s ending opened the door for a new story when it saw Thor adopt a super-powered daughter. Played by India Hemsworth, the Thor star’s real-life daughter, Love was shown wielding Stormbreaker while sharing adventures with her father. While the character becoming a member of the Avengers team in The Kang Dynasty is unlikely even if Thor is on hand, her debut enables Marvel to have more fun with Thor’s new responsibility.
Thor’s Role In The Korvac Saga Thor had an instrumental role in “The Korvac Saga,” a 1978 storyline that unfolded in the pages of The Avengers. A man who stole power from Galactus to become one of the most dangerous people in the universe, Korvac single-handedly slaughtered an army of Avengers that included the likes of Carol Danvers, Iron Man, Vision, Scarlet Witch, and more. Thor was among the last two heroes standing when Korvac was defeated and the Avengers were resurrected.
