18-year-old Ethan David was found shot to death in a car in Greenwood on Sunday.
Greenwood police found the body of 18-year-old Ethan J. David in a car on Liberty Way Drive, near East Worthsville and Sheek roads in 2023.Greenwood police arrested a 15-year-old girl and 17-year-old boy at the time. Quincy Stringer was charged with murder shortly after.
Months later, on June 4, the Johnson County Prosecutor's Office said Da’Zaria Dyson was waived to adult court on a murder charge. She is also facing charges of aiding and conspiracy to commit armed robbery.The Johnson County Coroner's Office identified the victim as 18-year-old Ethan J. David, of Indianapolis.
According to court documents, witnesses told police Stringer and Dyson had discussed robbing their drug dealer. The witness said the plan was for Dyson to ask what the dealer had and then Stringer would hold the dealer as they stole his drugs. Dyson allegedly told investigators she knew Stringer was planning to rob David but did not know he was going to kill him.According to police, during an interview with Stringer's girlfriend, she told them about a FaceTime call with Stringer and Dyson. She said the Dyson stated," wishes she had pulled the trigger instead of Quincy.” She said Stringer and Dyson then began joking about the way David's body was twitching after the shooting.
