According to Chicago police, the teen was standing in the 6200 block of South Greenwood Avenue at 4:08 p.m. when he was shot. The suspect fled into a home in the same block, police said CPD said the teen was taken to the University of Chicago Hospital in critical condition, and was later pronounced dead.
