Police have recovered two guns and made an arrest after a shooting Sunday night outside a popular Jacksonville Beach bar.

One of those two -- identified as 23-year-old Breon Geddes -- was arrested on a charge of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, according to an arrest report released by the Jacksonville Beach Police Department.

Police said Geddes was taken to a hospital with a non-life-threatening injury and later arrested on the charge of possession of a firearm by a convicted Florida felon.Another person was found in the area of Rita’s Italian Ice and Frozen Custard on Third Street North with a gunshot wound to his leg, police said. A witness told News4JAX that they saw a man chasing another man on Sunday evening. The witness said they thought the men were just messing around until the pursuer pulled out a gun and fired at least seven shots.
