KIRO 7 News StaffSEATTLE — The two left lanes of southbound Interstate 5 in Seattle are closed so crews can make expansion joint repairs that were postponed last month.
The lanes are blocked south of the West Seattle Bridge and Columbian Way. Crews will remove fatigued expansion joint steel. The Washington State Department of Transportation announced the lane closures on Twitter shortly after 6:30 a.m. Thursday, saying the work is expected to be finished by early afternoon.The two left lanes on SB I-5 south of West Seattle Bridge/Columbian Way in
