Owners of impacted vehicles will be notified between July 11, 2022 and July 15, 2022 and instructed to take their vehicle to a local Ford or Lincoln dealership to have the windshield removed and reinstalled using all standard service procedures, including camera calibration if required. The repairs will be carried out free of charge and Ford will reimburse owners who have already paid to have the issue resolved.

The issue only impacts the right-hand rear door and an inspection from Ford at its plant revealed that 1.5 per cent of Bronco models had the issue.
