. On the outside, the boxy crossover receives a refreshed design with a new front grille, foglights, daytime running lights, rear fascia, and taillights. Other cosmetic changes include new 17- and 18-inch wheel designs and a pair of two-tone paint schemes. The X-Line and Turbo models have been discontinued, leaving the Soul lineup with a total four variants: LX, S, EX, and GT-Line. With the 1.6-liter turbocharged engine gone, all 2023 Souls are powered by a 2.0-liter, naturally aspirated four-cylinder. Kia also equips the Soul with more standard safety technology and offers the GT-Line Technology package, which bundles navigation-based adaptive cruise control, high-gloss interior trim, a Harman Kardon sound system, and more.
