The Subaru BRZ gets mild updates for 2024 including more safety kit for the manual and the new STI Sport trim
suite which was previously limited to the models with automatic gearbox. Finally, the BRZ R trim gets a different set of 17-inch tires.
Subaru didn’t make any changes to the naturally aspirated 2.4-liter boxer engine that produces the same 232 hp and 250 Nm in Japanese specification. Power is transmitted to the rear axle through either a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission. The JDM-spec 2024 Subaru BRZ will premier at the Fuji Speedway on September 24. The model is already available to order in Japan starting from ¥3,300,000 . Notably, thethat came with steelies is not listed on the Subaru website, with the options currently limited to the R, S, and STI Sport grades. The STI Sport is the most expensive of the bunch, priced at ¥3,762,000 for the manual and topping out at ¥3,817,000 for the automatic.
