2024 Toyota Grand Highlander Promises A Third Row Big Enough For Adults | Carscoops carscoops
First officially announced in December, Toyota also shared a teaser photo of the SUV’s rear end at the time. That revealed that the Grand Highlander will feature its own unique styling, with its name written across a trim element under the Toyota badge.
In addition, its taillights will differ from the Highlander’s. Made up of two thin elements forming a C, the lighting elements will help give the Grand Highlander its own look.Toyota’s first teaser also revealed that the Platinum trim will be offered with a “Hybrid Max” powertrain. That name has been used before, on, which pairs a 2.4-liter turbocharged inline-four with an electric motor for improved torque. Together, they combine to make 340 hp and 400 lb-ft of torque.
We will find out for sure if that same powertrain will be offered on the Grand Highlander on February 8, when Toyota fully unveils the new SUV.
