SUMMIT COUNTY, Ohio - A 25-year-old man pleaded guilty to charges in connection to a sexual assault of an 11-year-old girl from Kent.
Summit County Sheriff deputies previously said George Reed Jr., who was 24 at the time of the crime, enticed the child to meet him for sex. Reed also allegedly sent the child sexually explicit photographs via Snapchat, said deputies, who confirmed his April 17 arrest. According to the Summit County Prosecutor’s Office, Reed pleaded guilty on Monday to the following charges:Disseminating Matter Harmful to Juveniles, a fourth-degree felonyJudge Jennifer Towell will hand down Reed’s sentence at 10:30 a.m. on Dec. 18.
