Measuring 6-foot-5 and 238 pounds, 247Sports ranks Davidson as the No. 31 tight end in the class of 2025.
Hollis Davidson III is back in the fold for Auburn after the 3-star tight end announced his commitment to Hugh Freeze and the Tigers on Thursday.Davidson has a history with Auburn after having previously committed to the Tigers in February. However, as more programs got involved in his recruitment, Davidson decided to back off his pledge two months later.
Since backing off his pledge to Auburn, Davidson took official visits to Auburn, Florida and Florida State, according to 247Sports. LSU also expressed interest as it sent its tight ends coach to visit Davidson. Measuring 6-foot-5 and 238 pounds, 247Sports ranks Davidson as the No. 31 tight end in the class of 2025 and the 52nd-ranked prospect out of the state of Georgia.
