3 teenagers shot after 'fistfight turned into gunfire' in Houston nightclub parking lot, police say
arrived at the club at 5200 Griggs and found a 17-year-old boy with a gunshot wound to the leg, Lt. Ronnie Willkens said. Investigators later learned that two girls, possibly between the ages of 17 and 18, were shot around the torso area, he said.
The three victims told police they were leaving the club and walking to the parking lot when they encountered several people involved in a fist fight, according to Willkens. At some point, gunfire erupted and the three teens ran to a vehicle for cover, he said. Houston police investigating after three teenagers were shot as gunfire erupted during a fistfight outside of a nightclub Saturday morning.Despite attempting to shield themselves, shots hit all three of the teenagers, Willkens said. The two females got into separate cars and went to a hospital with friends, while the male victim remained at the scene, he said.
Police have several people in custody for questioning, according to Willkens. Pistols and rifles were also found there, he added.
