San Diego State concludes the regular season with a season-low scoring effort and a historically low rushing performance in game against Air Force
That’s exactly where SDSU was predicted to place in a preseason poll of Mountain West media.
At least that Horned Frogs team had the nation’s top-ranked rushing defense at the time and would finish ranked No. 7 in the country.SDSU’s previous season low for rushing was 84 yards at Boise State. An offensive line that had shown progress in recent weeks turned in perhaps its poorest performance of the season.
They also forced the Falcons to settle for a field goal in the third quarter after they recovered a fumbled snap at the SDSU 14-yard line two plays into the second half.
