AKRON, Ohio - A murder investigation is underway after a 36-year-old man was found dead inside an East Akron home with an apparent gunshot wound to the abdomen, Akron Police confirmed.
Officers were sent to the home in the 800 block of McKinley Avenue around 10:25 a.m. on May 12 after a family member found the victim unresponsive inside the house, according to police.Police said the Summit County Medical Examiner’s Office will conduct an autopsy.
