Authorities in Philadelphia initially responded to the child's home around 8 p.m. Sunday due to a report of an abduction.

Authorities initially responded to the child’s home in the 7700 block of Revere Street around 8 p.m. Sunday due to a report of an abduction, according to reports.

According to the child’s father, he last saw her inside a black 2018 Volkswagen Passat around 2:30 p.m. that day. The father was then taken in for further questioning.while at the scene. “Myself and the captain of the 15th district started to coordinate our efforts and put enough officers on location to subset the search and we did locate the child and she’s safe.”

There is no word as of yet on her condition, nor if whether the child’s father is involved in some way, according to reports.
