Brett Maher is not starting off strong in Santa Clara

Cowboys kicker Brett Maher, who missed four extra point attempts during last Monday’s win against the Buccaneers, was unsuccessful on his first and likely last extra point attempt against theMaher’s kick was not a straight-up miss but was blocked by Niners lineman Samson Ebukam. Perhaps the fact that this miss wasn’t entirely his fault will help Maher’s yips from growing stronger, but a quick glance at the replay shows that Maher’s attempt was kind of shanked into the lineman’s hands.
