Who should get the omicron booster, and when?

The updated Pfizer booster is available for people at least 12 years old who have received their primary vaccinations at least two months prior. New booster doses of the Moderna vaccine are only available for people 18 and older.

A second booster dose is recommended for anyone 50 and older or anyone over the age of 12 who is immunocompromised. But they should wait at least four months after their first booster.But what if I recently had the virus?. But at a minimum, people should wait until they are fully recovered from the virus to get a booster..
