Daily News | 50-year-old woman found stabbed to death in Hunting Park
A 50-year-old woman was found stabbed to death inside her apartment Thursday afternoon in the city’s Hunting Park section, police said.
Just after 3 p.m., Philadelphia Fire Department personnel responded to a medical alarm at a first-floor unit on the 3900 block of North Fifth Street, said Chief Inspector Scott Small. No one answered the front door, so the emergency crew forced their way in and discovered the woman lying on the bedroom floor naked with multiple stab wounds to her chest, Small said.There was no one else in the apartment, Small said.
