Donald Cash was last seen Sept. 26 in the 800 block of Knoxville Street in western Birmingham.“He is described as a man who works, takes care of his family and goes home,’’ said Officer Truman Fitzgerald. “This is completely uncommon for him not to have any contact with his loved ones.”
The case was immediately assigned to a detective with the Birmingham Police Department’s Special Victims Unit, and investigators said they’re concerned about his well-being. “With some facts that we’ve learned that we can’t make available to the public, we believe he is in extreme danger,’’ Fitzgerald said.He was wearing black pants, a black shirt, a black hat and brown boots.“We know the community talks,’’ Fitzgerald said.
