A 20-year-old man shot over the weekend in Corsicana died Monday night, making him the sixth person to die in a murder-suicide that was spread across three locations in Navarro County.
Corsicana police said Xzavier Milazzo, who had been in the intensive care unit at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth since Saturday, was taken off life support Monday. He died about 10:15 p.m., according to the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office. He was the son of Kevin James Milazzo, 40, who is suspected in the deaths of four other people early Saturday.
The other four victims were identified by police as Hunter Freeman, 4, the son of Milazzo’s ex-girlfriend; Joshua Milazzo, 21, another son of the suspect; Connie Mimms, 61, Milazzo’s mother; and William Mimms, 68, Milazzo’s stepfather.Two other people were wounded in the incident. Their names and conditions have not been released.
