When it comes to vanilla extract, I like to play the field, picking up new bottles as I discover them. These are the vanillas I currently have on the shelf, including some that are blended with synthetic vanilla and while that selection will no doubt be different a month from now, I can gladly recommend any of these as stepping stones to the world of vanilla beyond the supermarket shelf.
