Structure fire breaks out at Yak Estates in Fairbanks on Thursday, March 30
FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The University Fire Department received a call about a structure fire at Yak Estates on Thursday, March 30 at approximately 6 p.m.
According to a press release, a resident who was trapped in the building when the fire broke out was able to escape through a window. The resident was taken to Fairbanks Memorial Hospital and treated and released. No other injuries were reported and all of the other residents of Building 855 were accounted for.
