Gotham Greens’ foray into North Texas is part of its broader expansion across the country.
nearly five-acre hydroponic greenhouseNew York-based Gotham Greens, a company that grows salad greens, herbs and dressings to sell in big box US grocery stores, is spending more than $32 million on opening a 210,000-square-foot facility on Bowers Road. Some of their clients include Whole Foods Market, The Kroger Co., Albertsons Companies and Sprouts Farmers Market.
The company’s foray into North Texas is part of its broader expansion across the US; by the end of 2022, the company will own a dozen greenhouses with over 1.2 million square feet of space across eight US states.
