Jasmin Devlin left her 9mm pistol unlocked and loaded in a place easily accessible by her two sons, prosecutors said.Last year, a Norristown drug dealer paid a customer to buy him several guns, illegally trading narcotics for the weapons, investigators said Wednesday. One of those guns was recovered earlier this month — in the backpack of a 6-year-old who police said took the pistol and some bullets onto the school bus to show his friends.
Devlin did not return a request for comment Wednesday, and there was no indication she had hired an attorney. He said his brother unloaded the gun, pointed it at him, then pulled the trigger and pretended to shoot him. That frightened him, he told the officers, because he worried that there might still be bullets in the gun..
