A new attack ad takes aim at Uvalde U.S. Rep. Tony Gonzales, whom the Republican Party of Texas recently censured.
Roughly four months after the November midterms, Election Day 2024 is still pretty far off. But one Republican political hopeful is already brandishing her big guns and taking aim at the congressman in Texas’ 23rd District.
“G’day mates,” the voiceover actor says. “Today, we are on the hunt for the elusive rhino.” “No, not rhinos. RINOs: Republicans in Name Only.” Eventually, Texas’ own Gonzales fills the screen. The narrator explains that the congressman is “trying to take away our guns,” among other supposedly nefarious non-conservative schemes.
