A robot named Ryan leads a yoga class at the University of Denver engineering school on April 27, 2022 in Denver. A group, aged 65 and older, are taking classes with Ryan as part of a study by the University of Denver and its Knoebel Institute of Healthy Aging.
While the main objective for the institute is looking for ways to improve the quality of life for mature adults, the study is to see if range of motion and balance improves for the subjects over the 10 week period of the course as well as to see how effective the robot is as an instructor.
