Lowrie will keep his third stint in the green and gold going for another season.
A day after bringing back Stephen Vogt, the A’s are reuniting with another 37-year-old: Jed Lowrie.
Lowrie mostly split time between second base and designated hitter in 2021 and figures to be an option at both spots again this year. But the switch-hitter was reportedly taking ground balls at first base on Saturday and he could be part of the group that helps replace Matt Olson, who the A’s traded to Atlanta earlier this spring.
