Christopher McDonald, who played Shooter McGavin in 'Happy Gilmore,' says Adam Sandler recently showed him the script for a sequel to the beloved golf comedy.
"I saw Adam about two weeks ago, and he says to me, 'McDonald, you're gonna love this,'" he told Cleveland radio's. Maybe you should cut that out because I don’t wanna be a liar, but he did show me that, and I thought, 'Well, that would be awesome.' So it's in the works. Fans demand it, damn it!"
McDonald also said that Shooter is among the three favorite roles he's had. The character has become one of his most beloved among fans, even though he's appeared in dozens of films and TV series, including, which centers on a former hockey player with anger management problems and an unexpected talent for golf.
