“I was literally borderline alcoholic for quite a lot of my 20s, but I miss it so much,” the 16-time Grammy winner told fans.
The 16-time Grammy winner, 35, told fans in attendance at her Vegas residency Saturday that she decided to quit drinking three months ago, adding that she was a “borderline alcoholic” for much of her 20s.
Admitting that “it’s boring” to quit drinking, Adele revealed she also “cut out caffeine” from her daily routine.admittedly got “too drunk”Her fourth studio album titled “30” features a song called “I Drink Wine” in which she sings about turning to the bottle in times of hardship. She also added that drinking left her more impressionable on what is said about her in the media than when she’s not consuming alcohol.Adele previously revealed that she “stopped drinking” after her divorce from ex-husband Simon Konecki, as well as her estranged dad Mark Evans’ death in May 2021.
