A 14-year-old was charged in juvenile court on Monday after attempting to stab another teen and a 12-year-old at a Cumberland County home, according to police.
According to New Cumberland police, officers were called to a home in the 1100 block of Drexel Hills Boulevard, where the teen had attempted to stab another 14-year-old and a 12-year-old. Adults interrupted the attack, and the knife was seized, police said. The stabbing was stopped before there were any injuries, but the attacker also left the home.Cumberland County Juvenile Probation was contacted, but did not place the teen, police said. The teen was released to their family.
No identifying information about the children was provided by police, and records will be sealed due to it being prosecuted in the juvenile system.Read more on PennLive:
