After being ‘blindsided’ by Braves, Freddie Freeman happy to be back home with Dodgers
on Monday — effectively ending Freeman’s time in Atlanta — he had no idea the news was coming.
“The last week has been a little bit of a whirlwind,” Freeman said. “But I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else right now.” “Everyone knew the situation I was in and they were very upfront and they cared about where I was coming from and how long I was there,” Freeman said. “They cared about family. I expressed family and winning. That’s all I care about and that’s what they care about too.
