Teams from the North won 11 of 13 competitions during the AHSAA All-Star Sports Week.

The North team won the first two games of Thursday’s volleyball contest, 25-20 and 25-18, with middle hitter Jorda Crook of Ohatchee leading the way. She delivered 5 kills in 7 attempts in her time on the floor. In the final game of the five-game set, the North was sparked by Spain Park outside hitter Emily Breazeale – who showed some of the same kind of play as she did in November’s Class 7A state championship match – and closed out the match with two big points for a 15-11 win.
