Airports in Lyon, Toulouse and Lille evacuated after threats received via email
PARIS — Three French airports in the cities of Lyon, Toulouse and Lille were evacuated on Wednesday following security alerts, police said.
“The Louvre and the Versailles palace were evacuated Saturday, and the royal palace was again evacuated Tuesday. A high school in Arras was evacuated Monday ahead of a moment of silence three days after the murder of a teacher by a suspected Islamist extremist.” Meanwhile an abandoned piece of luggage briefly disrupted operations at the airport in the Riviera city of Nice, the airport said.
