Here’s a look at the unofficial Akron City Council Primary Election results from the Summit County Board of Elections with 100% of precincts reporting.Incumbents Linda Omobien and Jeff Fusco secured spots on the November ballot, with 9,640 votes and 7,962 votes , respectively. Eric Garrett, who received 6,691 votes , edged out incumbent candidate Ginger Baylor, who received 6,304 votes .
Omobien, Fusco and Garrett will appear on the November ballot along with Republican at-large candidates Vyrone A. Finney and Cynthia Blake, who ran unopposed in the Republican primary. Here’s how the remaining votes were cast for the at-large race, according to unofficial election results .
