Burgess Chad Flowers, 46, was wanted for a state probation violation for second-degree robbery.
DALEVILLE, Ala. - A fugitive that was considered to potentially be “armed and dangerous” by law enforcement officials was arrested on Wednesday in Daleville.. At the time of the wanted notice made by Central Alabama CrimeStoppers, it was noted that Flowers frequented the Enterprise, Daleville and Montgomery area.
According to information released by Daleville Police, they assisted the U.S. Marshal Fugitive Task Force in serving a Fugitive Warrant for Flowers, which resulted in Flowers fleeing into the woods near Daleville Avenue. After additional law enforcement assistance, Flowers was located about five hours later off Tank Hill Road and captured.
Daleville Police and the U.S. Marshals were assisted in the search and capture of Flowers by the Dale County Sheriff’s Office, Wiregrass Aviation Support Program, Dothan Police Department, Houston County Sheriff’s Office, Coffee County Sheriff’s Office, Alabama State Bureau of Investigation, Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, Alabama Department of Corrections, Alabama Game and Fish, Enterprise Police Department and Fort Novosel Police and SRT.
