🚨 Commitment Alert 🚨 Alabama lands four-star WR Amari Jefferson over Tennessee & Georgia Jefferson is the second receiver and the 15th commit to join the Crimson Tides class Story: RollTide

Amari Jefferson, 2024, Wide ReceiverSaturday afternoon, Alabama fans heard some good news on the recruiting front for the first time this month when four-star receiver“This has been a big decision for me and my family,” Jefferson said. “It’s a decision we came to collectively after weighing all our options.

“I picked Alabama because of my relationship with the coaching staff, the winning culture and the development at the receiver position. I visited Alabama a number of times and untimely they were able to win out in my recruitment. They have a history of producing major NFL talent on a yearly basis, so I also had to take that into consideration.”

Alabama has been looking for playmakers in the 2024 class, and Jefferson certainly fits the bill. The two-sport athlete was originally committed to play baseball at Tennessee and brings plenty of athleticism to the football field. Along with his physical traits, he comes with the mindset Crimson Tide coaches are looking for in their players.

Now that Alabama has added Jefferson it will want to add more weapons to the fold on the offensive end, but make no mistake the staff is jumping for joy, and tight end coach Joe Cox deserves a lot of praise as his primary recruiter. “I’m just excited to continue to be a part of what Coach [Nick] Saban is building,” Jefferson said. “Alabama is an elite program that any athlete would be lucky to play for, I’m just grateful for the opportunity. This class is special. I look forward to connecting with the guys and doing something special.”
