Investigators served a search warrant at the home of an Alabama prison captain and a former prison system lieutenant “as part of an ongoing criminal investigation.”
An Alabama prison captain and former lieutenant were arrested Monday night on charges of bribery.
“The ADOC is committed to enforcing its zero-tolerance policy on contraband, particularly when it comes to policing our own,” said ADOC Commissioner John Hamm. Investigators served a search warrant at their home in Birmingham “as part of an ongoing criminal investigation,” Betts said. She noted that additional charges are pending.
