For his second show post-controversy attendees climbed a pink-lit stairwell they entered Wang's arena of love grounded with zebra-print carpet, surrounded by mauve velvet curtains and seating that was arranged in a double heart pattern that lined the perimeter for the"Cupid's Door" runway. Before the opening ensemble turned heads, guests found seats while hypnotizing, yet comforting jazz played — matching the femme fatale theme of Wang's collection. According to the show notes, the "Cupid" presentation was "a celebration of romance" and inspired by"the alpha character who embodies empowerment and controls their own narrative and point of view through strength, dressing, and attitude.
