Alfa Romeo Teases New Model Coming This Year
• The model in question could well be the long-rumoured 6C.
Alfa Romeo, like other manufacturers across the industry, has some surprises in store for 2023. Wanting to make sure everyone knows, the company used its New Year's message on social media to give a glimpse of what's coming this year. That light’s round design is similar to that found on the sporty 4C. We don’t expect that model to return, especially since a red dash in the middle of the image in the video forms what seems to be the number 6. And voilà, speculation can begin that the expected model is the new 6C. Alfa Romeo 6C teaser - WG ARE Recall that last summer, Alfa Romeo boss Jean-Philippe Imparato hinted that the company might launch a supercar to celebrate the end, so to speak, of the combustion engine.
Alfa Romeo is also preparing a subcompact SUV that will become the brand's first electric vehicle when it debuts for 2024. That model, called the Brennero, will be a close cousin of the Jeep Avenger, which will not be offered here. Christian Meunier, Jeep's CEO, told us that the Avenger is smaller than a Renegade. All of which makes it less than certain that the Brennero will even make it to the North American market.
