Terraformers in the new Alien comic were hoping to create a beautiful planet. Well, they did. Unfortunately, the planet was perfect for Xenomorphs, not humans.
The alien Xenomorphs are known for being ruthless killers that show up in any environment and hunt to kill, but in the comics they are actually getting a planet perfect for them.
In the second story arc for the Marvel-produced Alien comic, a group of terraformers are working to turn a moon into an inhabitable world. This group is highly religious and they believe their work to be an extension of their beliefs. Unfortunately, a Xenomorph-infested ship crash-landed on the moon. Even without reading the story, any Alien fan would know what happened next. In typical Alien fashion, the Xenomorphs spread across the colony, killing anyone they came across.
For so long fans have grown accustomed to seeing Xenomorphs as an invasive species. They arrive somewhere, whether it be a planet or a ship, and immediately go to work killing everything they come across. But this is a different way of looking at the ruthless yet popular aliens. Now they have a planet to call their own and inhabit. It will be a whole world for them to conquer. Right now they are in the process of spreading across it, but fans can imagine what it might look like years from now.
It's strange though to imagine if Xenomorphs are even capable of having a home world. It seems as if their natural instinct is to kill and spread their species. Unlike most animals, which strive only to survive, Xenomorphs constantly spread their numbers by killing hosts. It's interesting to wonder if that way of life is even sustainable on a planet or if Xenomorphs would reach a point when they have hunted, killed, and harvested every living thing they could.
