'Amazing Stories' is getting a reboot on courtesy of Steven Spielberg, with Apple TV+ about to release the first five episodes of the sci-fi anthology series.
trailer, sees Forster play a grandfather who develops superpowers. According to Indiewire, these powers come from a magic ring he and his grandson ordered from the back of a comic book.
"The Rift," meanwhile, has been adapted from a Leno Carvalho comic book, the plot of which gives us some idea of what to expect from the series. The graphic novel sees Mary Ann and her son Elijah's lives changed forever when a World War II fighter pilot is seen through the eponymous rift in time.
