San Francisco police arrested four Bay Area residents, including one teenager, who allegedly stole thousands of dollars worth of merchandise from a LEGO Store over the weekend.
A LEGO Store employee followed the alleged thieves as they left the mall and entered a rented Volkswagen Jetta in the parking lot, according to the San Mateo Police Department. Authorities tracked the vehicle as it traveled through several Bay Area counties, eventually reaching San Francisco, where police arrested the four occupants just after 4 p.m. on Saturday.
