The restaurant is named after its chef-owner Andreas Kotsifos, who once worked at legendary Dallas steakhouse The Palm.
“I was always looking for something up north here, between Dallas and McKinney,” says chef Andreas Kotsifos. He got his wish on Monday, July 31, 2023, when heThe Greek chef describes his suburban restaurant as a “high-end European steakhouse” with Mediterranean and French influences. He’s spent more than 40 years working in restaurants all over the globe: New York, Rome, Paris and, most recently, Corsicana, Texas.
Lamb meatballs with sofrito sauce are one of the appetizers at Andreas Prime Steaks and Seafood in Allen. At Andreas, customers will find appetizers like oysters Rockefeller and escargot with spicy chorizo butter. Two of Kotsifos’ favorite dishes are the lobster bisque and French onion soup. Prime steaks are the centerpiece of the menu, though other mains include fancy classics like lobster thermidor and beef Wellington.
