Amazon Prime Video will hold the broadcast rights to the Seattle Storm, streaming roughly 30 Storm games throughout 2022’s season.
The partnership follows Amazon’s look at building its coverage of live sporting events, including 17 separate, nationally televised WNBA in-season games.
The Storm’s first season at the newly remodeled Climate Pledge Arena will begin May 6. Fans can see the iconic point guard Sue Bird play out a potential final season; in February, the Storm announced that Bird had signed a one-year deal for theThe Storm’s live play-by-play coverage will be hosted by Dick Fain and Elise Woodward. Rush Media will produce the broadcasts.
