An Amazon spokesperson said the company has told all employees to "defer non-essential travel during this time."
Amazon told all 798,000 of its employees on Friday to avoid"non-essential travel" domestically and internationally due to concerns about the coronavirus disease, COVID-19, a spokesperson for the company confirmed to Business Insider.
The spokesperson confirmed that the guidance on avoiding non-essential travel was sent to all employees, including those on the worldwide operations team.
